Concierge Physical Therapy Colorado
The concept of Concierge Physical Therapy Colorado stems from Peterson's combined backgrounds in Business Process Re-engineering and private practice in Physical Therapy. Whether it’s a corporation or an individual, it boils down to: what isn’t working, why, and what must be done to fix it. Over the years in her practice she has seen the healthcare system change for the worse. Due to reimbursements, many clinics have been driven to assembly line style practices where patients receive less attention and more regimented care. At the same time, patients are faced with higher deductibles, co-pays and premiums. Patients are paying more for their care yet receiving less.
The purpose of Concierge Physical Therapy Colorado is to offer effective and efficient therapy. We are bringing the focus back to the patient and restoring the quality of care in healthcare.

Julie Peterson, MPT is a California native who has practiced therapy in Texas, Alaska and Colorado. Her career has been a constant pursuit of skill and knowledge. She attributes her passion for therapy to her personal experiences with injuries. A background of playing soccer and tennis, swimming and running cross country have given her first- hand knowledge of, and empathy for the injured athlete. She is also is aware of the hazards of daily living as her most severe injury to date stems from a slip at home.
Peterson specializes in Neuorkinetic Therapy, Orthopedic Manual Therapy and Functional Movement. Her goal is to enable others (and herself) to pursue their passions, from playing the violin to running 26.2 miles without pain. Rather than focusing on the symptoms, she finds the source. She believes there is something unique to each person that causes their dysfunction, so there should be an individually customized plan to bring resolution. Her success comes not just from a diverse set of skills, but rather from knowing how, why and when to use each “tool”.
Julie is an avid believer in continuing education and constant learning. Her pursuits have enabled her to stay active as an avid cyclist, runner and skier.
